Changes in co-op bots?

Hello,



I play mostly co-op and since the last update, I have noticed that now, when there are not enough human players, friendly bots will also include carriers and battleships on your team instead of just cruisers and destroyers.

Is this a new thing? I'm not sure if it is something newly implemented or it has always been like this when you hit tier 9 and above. I've been grinding the US cruisers line and just made it to tier 9, Baltimore.
